Laundry Kitchen Group's key management philosophy
is to practice and implement Toyota Production System.
- "Shift from quantitative management to quality management"
- "Full-fledged promotion of leveling"
- "Recognition of initial complement"
- "Encouragement of multi-functions and process handling
workers"
- "Chops and changes in Kaizen activities"
We are engaged in these tasks on a daily basis.
Especially, leveling has proved a dramatic effect, averaging
out monthly production, despite that cleaning business is subject
to seasonal variation.

We received a direct instruction from Mr. Taiichi
Ono, the former vice president of Toyota Motors Corporation in
implementing the Toyota Production System.
Mr. Ono, who is referred to as the creator of the Toyota Production
System, had given us valuable support for factory management ever
since he sited the factory of the Mitsuya Cleaning which is the
Group's leading company on May 15th 1986, with the staffs of the
production adjustment division of Toyota Gosei Co., Ltd., who
used to be senior advisers (including Iwata General Manger at
the time, who is now the representative of New Japan R&D Center,
and others).
Moreover, he allowed us to accompany him on the filed instructions
for the companies implementing the Toyota Production System in
Kyusyu, through which we learned a lot about his philosophy of
Genba Kaizen, site improvement.

Laundry Kitchen Group holds workshops for Genba
Kaizen several times a month. Now, about 30 companies throughout
Japan are trying to convert themselves into profit-making bodies,
by working hard and learning from others. |
